Slime lovers… this one’s for you! Slime making sessions happening in Rolleston Square over the school holidays.
Kids will mix, stretch, and create their very own slime, enjoy some messy fun, and take their slime home at the end.
Session runs for 45 minutes
Paint your own one of a kind room decor sign! Every child gets a plywood sign with their name pre-cut in vinyl ready to paint and decorate.
Once the paint dries, we peel the vinyl away to reveal their name standing out on the wood underneath, a keepsake to take home and hang in their room.
The Details:
Sessions running from Monday 28 September – Thursday 1 October
Times: 10.00am and 1.00pm
Duration: Approx 90 minutes (this may vary from child to child)
Location: Messy Mates Play Studio, Hornby Hub
15 children per session max.
What’s included:
A plywood sign with your child's name pre-cut in vinyl
All paint, brushes, and decorating materials
Access to the play studio while signs are drying
Age and what to expect:
Recommended for ages 4+
parents need to stay or can drop off (this needs to be confirmed)
Paint can stain, so please dress your little artist in clothes you don't mind getting messy
Book Info:
Please provide your child's preferred first name at the time of booking, this is needed so we can prepare their vinyl name ahead of time.
Bookings close 26 September so we have time to prep every sign
Note: longer names will come on a slightly different shaped sign, but it will still look just as great. This will be rectangle not circle
Siblings and Family Members:
Got younger siblings tagging along who aren't taking part? They're welcome to join in the play studio while your older child does the activity. There will be an additional cost of $10.95 per child. Click here to purchase a Play Studio Pass.
Cancellations and Refunds:
Cancellations and rebooking are subject to our studio terms and conditions.
Refunds will only be processed if cancellations are made before the 26 September to allow time for all vinyl decal names to be prepared for Room Decor Sign Sessions.
During our Holiday programme sessions, if you have younger siblings that have come along and aren’t taking part, they are welcome to explore and have fun in the studio.

Please note: one ticket is for one child, supervising parents get in free. So if you have more than one child, you will need to make sure each has a ticket booked.
Doors open at 9.30am and the Bubble Show will begin at 10.00am until 11.00am.
When the bubble show kicks off, a full hour of giant bubbles, bubble tricks and yes, every single kid gets their turn inside a bubble. It's the kind of thing they'll be talking about for weeks.
Once the show wraps up, you’re not going anywhere, stick around and make the most of the rest of your studio session, messy trays, sensory play and everything else Messy Mates has to offer.
One ticket, one seriously big day out!
Everyone will need to depart the studio no later than 11.30am to allow time to setup for the second Bubble Show event.
This event is suitable for ages 1+ year old - 99 years old. I think even the adults will enjoy this one.
